Blue steel #1

青紙1号は、青紙2号に比べて炭素の含有量が多く、さらに硬度と耐摩耗性が向上した高級炭素鋼です。これにより、切れ味が長持ちし、耐久性に優れていますが、研ぎにくくなるため、扱いには技術が必要です。また、炭素鋼であるため錆びやすく、使用後の適切な手入れが欠かせません。  

Aogami No.1 (Blue Paper No.1) is a high-end carbon steel with a higher content of carbon compared to Aogami No.2. This results in increased hardness and wear resistance, allowing the blade to maintain its sharpness for a longer time and offering excellent durability. However, it is more challenging to sharpen and requires skill to handle properly. Additionally, as a carbon steel, it is prone to rust, making proper maintenance essential after use.
